Requirements to be eligible for a scholarship:
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Have grades above 8.5
- 1 recommendation letter from a teacher or a community leader.
- Additionally, candidates must commit to meeting the program conditions to maintain the scholarship throughout its duration.

Kids Need Space launches the first aerospace camp in El Salvador: Mars Frontier CampParticipants will form crew teams with roles such as engineer, scientist, biologist, mission specialist, commander, and storyteller, facing the challenge of surviving on Mars for the first 72 hours. Through STEM challenges like habitat construction, rover design and driving, 3D printing, and Mars colony planning, students will experience hands-on learning. Additionally, they will enjoy activities with telescopes, microscopes, and a planetarium.

An immersive three-day aerospace experience, designed based on real space mission structures. Participants assume the roles of engineers, scientists, commanders, and strategic communicators while solving the challenge of surviving on Mars for the first 72 hours.

STEM challenges include the construction of a Martian habitat, the design and operation of a rover, 3D printing, and the planning of a colony on Mars. The program also integrates activities with telescopes, microscopes, and a planetarium.

The program is led by Salvadoran engineers and scientists, providing students with the opportunity to learn directly from STEM professionals and role models who contribute to innovation and scientific advancement both nationally and internationally.

The investment to participate in the camp is $350 per participant. This cost includes transportation during the three days from the Antiguo Cuscatlán campus to the Soyapango campus of Don Bosco University, daily lunch, all necessary materials for the activities, and full participation in the camp program.
