The Salvadoran aerospace engineer, Patricia Ortiz, who leads NASA projects in Southern California, is living like just another space enthusiast the imminent launch of the Artemis II mission to lunar orbit, this Wednesday, April 1.
On her Instagram profile, our compatriot has documented the hours leading up to the liftoff of the rocket that will carry four astronauts to fly over the Moon's orbit for 10 days, without landing on the satellite.
"Preparada para este día histórico", publicó junto a un video de su experiencia en el Centro Espacial Kennedy, en Cabo Cañaveral, Florida, previo al lanzamiento de la primera misión tripulada a la Luna desde 1972. "¡Buena suerte Artemis!", agregó.
